🌏CLIMATE ACTION
Carbon markets can catalyze climate, biodiversity, and social prosperity. Renewing its storytelling to turn skepticism into game-changing climate action has been a reward on its own.
I help mission-driven organizations build awareness and credibility, engage stakeholders, and showcase how their work creates meaningful change through strategic communications focused on social impact storytelling and thought leadership.
Over the last 20 years I have worked with mission-driven organizations at the intersection of innovation and social good. These have been the sectors where I have had first-hand experience.

Water is at the core of health, education, and opportunity. I have been fortunate to share the profound impact innovative water projects have had in communities around the world.
From an early career in teaching, to supporting gifted children and their parents to raising awareness for early childhood development, education remains a constant driver in my path.
Working with doctors, health advocates, and researchers has been an eye-opening experience be it at a teaching hospital or while leading comms during the 2019 pandemic.
Telling start-ups' stories, whether it is nanoadditives or 3D printed organ mock-ups, has tested my translation skills. And that's where I thrive: making complex innovation compelling.
Art is transformative. My close work with the FEMSA Art Collection and the collaboration with Cirque du Soleil on water access initiatives have allowed me to share how art can change lives.
THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
Among harsh criticism towards carbon markets financing for natural climate solutions, this series brings in experts and scientists to weigh in and offer their latest thinking on some of the most debated issues in the climate change space.
STORYTELLING
Profiles in Leadership is a series of video interviews in which CEOs of endorsing companies and partners of the Water Resilience Coalition outline their aim to elevate global water stress to the top of the corporate agenda.
STRATEGY
After a consultation workshop, I developed a three-year comms strategy rooted in the Global Carbon Markets program strategy that allowed the organization to plan while remaining nimble to face a rapidly evolving environment
STROYTELLING
One of the most exciting projects I have worked on. This was a great opportunity to deep dive into human impact stories, starting with one in Brazil. I then led its premiere event at the Green Zone during COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh.
BRANDING
After 12 years, FEMSA Foundation needed a refresh. For its 10th anniversary I had led a temporary rebranding, but new leadership opened the doors for a completely new look and tone of voice. I left the organization before the rebranding went through all needed approvals. A year later it was finally launched.
ANNUAL REPORTING
All through my carreer I have led on annual report processes. What made the CEO Water Mandate's special was the fact that this was the first time the organization aimed for an impact report that brought integrated results, branding, and storytelling. I was glad to be up for the task.
EVENTS
After 46 years, the UN decided to gather the water community in a historic event. I had the chance to lead on event planning and execution within and outside of the UN headquarters in close collaboration with the UN Global Compact events team and CSOs and CEOs of over 10 companies.
STRATEGY
As the COVID-19 pandemic hit, FEMSA responded with its usual deep commitment to the communities where it opperates. My team and I were tasked with a tremendous endeavor: tracking and reporting internally on the company's social response across 8 Business Units and 13 countries.
